About Me

Helen Sheridan (b. Ilford, United Kingdom). Helen currently lives in Cascais, Lisbon, Portugal.  Working mainly in watercolours, pen, ink, pencil and occasionally acrylics, she focuses predominantly on architectural and town scenes.  Helen loved to draw as a child but due to life’s circumstances ended up forging a 30 year career in Insurance in London. Her retirement gift from colleagues was a set of watercolour paints and brushes. When Helen moved to Cascais she finally took them out of the box and has been developing her own style since.
